How to use MB WhatsApp on a PC
There is no Windows version, but an emulator can run it. Here is how, and what to know first.
If you searched for “MB WhatsApp for PC”, you probably want the extra themes and privacy options on a bigger screen. The catch is that MB WhatsApp is an Android app. It does not come as a Windows program, so you cannot simply download and open it on a laptop. This guide shows the one method that works, the steps in order, the risks, and an official option that is simpler.

Is there an MB WhatsApp version for PC?
No. The developer, listed as Stefano YG, only releases an Android APK. Sites that offer an “MB WhatsApp for Windows” .exe file are not offering the real app, and those downloads are a common way to spread malware. Do not install them.
What does work is running Android on your PC. An emulator creates a virtual Android phone inside a window on Windows. You install the APK in that virtual phone, and MB WhatsApp runs there just as it would on a real device.
Microsoft once offered a built-in Android layer for Windows, but it has been retired, so an emulator is now the practical choice. Check Microsoft’s site if you want to confirm the current status.

What you need before you start
A Windows PC
BlueStacks lists its minimum specs on its site. Plan on at least 4 GB of RAM and several GB of free disk space.
The APK file
Get it from our download page and scan it with VirusTotal.
Your phone
The verification SMS goes to your SIM, so keep the phone close.
A chat backup
Back up your chats in the official app first. See our transfer guide.
How to install MB WhatsApp on PC with BlueStacks
Follow the steps in order. Button names can differ slightly between BlueStacks versions.
Install BlueStacks
Download BlueStacks from its official website and run the installer. The first launch takes a few minutes while it sets up the virtual phone. It may ask you to sign in with a Google account.
Download the MB WhatsApp APK to your PC
Save the file from our download page into a folder you can find, such as Downloads. Scan it with VirusTotal before you open it.
Wait for the BlueStacks home screen
Open BlueStacks and let it finish loading. When you see the Android home screen, it is ready.
Install the APK
Drag the APK file from your folder and drop it onto the BlueStacks window. You can also click the Install APK icon in the side toolbar and pick the file. The install takes a few seconds.
Open the app and verify your number
Find MB WhatsApp on the BlueStacks home screen and open it. Tap Agree and Continue, enter your number, and type the SMS code that arrives on your phone. A number can only be active in one app at a time, so your phone’s WhatsApp will be logged out when you verify here.
Allow permissions and start chatting
Allow access to contacts if you want your contact names to show. After that you can use the MB features, such as themes and privacy options, inside the BlueStacks window.
Tips for smoother performance
- Close other heavy programs. Browsers with many tabs and games compete for the same memory.
- Give BlueStacks more RAM. Look in its settings for the Performance tab and raise the memory a little if your PC allows it.
- Turn on virtualization. Many PCs ship with it off. Enabling it in the BIOS often makes BlueStacks much faster.
- Keep the app and BlueStacks updated. Old versions crash more often.
If it does not work
The APK will not install. Download the file again, because it may be corrupted. Make sure it is the file for Android, not a .exe.
The SMS code never arrives. Check that your phone has signal, wait a minute, and ask for the code by phone call if the app offers it.
BlueStacks is slow or freezes. Close other programs, raise its memory, and check that virtualization is on.
Your account gets blocked. This is the ban risk. Switch back to the official app and wait. Using a spare number next time limits the damage.
The simpler option: official WhatsApp on your PC
If you do not need the MB extras, use the official Windows app or WhatsApp Web. It is faster, safe for your account, and ready in two minutes.
- Install WhatsApp Desktop from the Microsoft Store, or open WhatsApp Web in your browser.
- On your phone, open WhatsApp, go to Linked devices, and tap Link a device.
- Scan the QR code shown on your PC screen.
Your chats then appear on the computer, and your phone stays logged in.

Final thoughts
MB WhatsApp has no real PC version, so an emulator such as BlueStacks is the only way to run it on Windows. It works, but it is slower, heavier and carries the same ban risk as on a phone. If you just want your chats on a big screen, the official desktop app does that better.
